Barrie James already had a website selling to magicians when he asked me to build a new one for him.

This is the second website I have designed and developed for Barrie.  After 4 years Barries decided to have a new look and this was relatively easy becuase the websites is built round a database.  All information and settings are stored in the database and to give it a new look all I had to do was to design and code a new template for the look of the site.

The brief was to come up with a website that had a clean modern look to it but above all else was fuctional, could grow with his business and was easy to maintain.

Barries Magic, the website, was built up to his specifications:

• By using white space I have achieved a clean look but kept the energy of a busy website.
• Attention was given to the navigation making it easy for the visitor to move around the website.
• When the online shop went live there were a lot of items for sale but these have grown tremedously and the website justs gets bigger and bigger.
• Barrie has full control over every aspect of the shop - he can add/delete items, add/delete images, change the prices, change postal costs, print invoices and many other functions that are needed to trade online.
